Are your bottles lead-free?
Yes — always have been, always will be. Every Owala Pure bottle is tested and certified lead-free. We use only food-grade stainless steel that meets FDA safety standards.
Are your bottles BPA-free?
Absolutely. All our bottles are 100% BPA-free. We use FDA-compliant, food-grade materials throughout — including lids, straws, and seals.
What materials are your bottles made of?
Our bottles feature double-wall vacuum insulated 18/8 stainless steel with a powder-coated exterior. Lids are made from BPA-free Tritan plastic. Straws are food-grade silicone.
How long do they keep drinks cold/hot?
Our vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. Performance may vary based on ambient temperature and lid type.
What's the difference between FreeSip and SmoothSip?
FreeSip: Built-in straw for sipping + wide mouth for swigging. Best for everyday use, gym, commute.
SmoothSip: Smooth slider lid for easy sipping. Sleek design, great for desk and on-the-go.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes! All Owala Pure bottles are top-rack dishwasher safe. For best results, remove the lid and wash separately. We also recommend hand-washing the straw occasionally.
Are they leak-proof?
Yes. All our bottles are tested for leak-proof performance. When the lid is properly closed, you can toss it in your bag with confidence.
Can I put carbonated drinks in them?
We recommend still beverages only. Carbonated drinks may cause pressure buildup under the lid.
Sizing
What sizes do you offer?
We offer bottles in 12oz (354ml), 19oz (562ml), 24oz (710ml), 32oz (946ml), and 40oz (1182ml). Check each product page for available sizes.
Will it fit in my car cup holder?
Our 12oz, 19oz, and 24oz bottles fit standard car cup holders. The 32oz and 40oz are wider and may not fit all cup holders — check the diameter specs on the product page.

How long does shipping take?
US orders: 3-5 business days (standard). Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. International shipping: 7-15 business days depending on destination.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Free worldwide shipping when you order 2 or more items.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to 240+ countries. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll receive a tracking email once your order ships. You can also track your order using the "Track Order" link on our website.

What is your return policy?

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All Owala Pure bottles come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, including insulation failure, lid malfunction, and coating defects. Warranty details →
What if my bottle arrives damaged?
Contact us within 7 days with photos of the damage. We'll send a free replacement or full refund — no need to return the damaged item.
Care & Maintenance
How do I clean my bottle?
Top-rack dishwasher safe. For deep cleaning: fill with warm water + 1 tbsp baking soda, let sit 15 minutes, rinse. Clean the straw with a straw brush weekly. Full care guide →
How do I remove odors?
Fill with warm water + 1 tbsp white vinegar or baking soda. Let sit overnight, rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed.
